The 15th anniversary of the signature event on The Dale Jr. Foundation’s calendar, the Driven to Give Gala, was held recently at Dale Earnhardt Jr’s Old Town Whisky River, raising a record total of more than $715,000 to further the Foundation’s ability to give help and support to underprivileged youth across a broad spectrum.
More than 350 guests attended the annual gala, which included a concert from country-music star Chris Stapleton, both live and silent auctions, raffle items, a Kendra Scott jewelry booth and custom-designed western hats from Wild Child Burned Hats.
In celebration of its 15th anniversary, The Dale Jr. Foundation proudly recognized a select group of partners who have supported the Driven To Give event every year since its inception. These long-standing partners include Nationwide, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports, Weaver Wealth Management, Robinson Bradshaw, and Wells Fargo. The Foundation was grateful to welcome many returning sponsors, as well as a few new partners this year. Their generosity will make a lasting impact on the children and charities that benefit from this incredible event.
In addition to the auctions and entertainment, five charity partners along with children in their care were recognized on the night. They include FeedNC, Children’s Hope Alliance, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Mooresville Christian Mission and the Rainbow Kids Hospice House.
The Dale Jr. Foundation is dedicated to its key areas of giving–Empowerment, Education, Wellness, Hunger, and Hope–while empowering underprivileged youth with the resources to boost confidence, enhance education and provide opportunities to achieve extraordinary goals.
