There are 4 more chances during the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season for you to ride with Dale Jr during Driver Introductions. Each year, Speedway Children’s Charities (SCC) auctions off spots with several drivers to raise money for their charity initiatives. This year, SCC is also donating half of the proceeds raised through each ride along with Dale Jr to The Dale Jr. Foundation!
The auction for each race takes place online (with the exception of Texas) and the winning bidder will have the opportunity to ride in the parade lap vehicle during driver introductions before the Sprint Cup Race. Prior to the ride along, the winner & a guest will receive a cold pit tour and the opportunity to take photos in the driver’s pit stall. Winning bid does not include tickets, transportation to the race or lodging. The remaining races with Ride Along opportunities for the 2009 season are: Atlanta (September 6 – online auction ends August 30); New Hampshire (September 20 – online auction ends September 13); Charlotte (October 17 – online auction ends October 11) and Texas (November 8 – Live Auction only on November 7 in Texas).
